Cybersecurity leadership

Influence in cybersecurity requires evidence

Kin Levi

Lists of influential CEOs may attract attention; they do not tell a reader whether the advice will survive a crisis. I would rather make my reasoning inspectable.

What I have learned

Claims of impact should name the scope, method and limits. When data cannot be shared because of confidentiality, I can still explain a decision framework without inventing a case study.

What I would do

I would link to public work, distinguish opinion from evidence and correct errors openly. A leader's reputation should be a consequence of useful contributions, not the premise of an article.
